Meal Assistance Applications for 2025-26 school year are now being accepted.
Please see the meal prices below for 2025-2026 School year.

If you are interested in applying for Meal Benefits, you may go to NACS Family Portal and follow the instructions to complete and submit your application for free or reduced benefits on-line. You also can pick up an application for Free or Reduced Meals at any of our schools and complete the form and return it to your children's school. There is a grace period for those who were approved for free/reduced meals at the end of the prior school year until September 20, 2025.  A new application must be completed and approved each school year to continue meal benefits.

The Free and Reduced Meal Application covers both lunch and breakfast. All schools in the Northwest Allen County School District will be participating in the Breakfast Program for the 2025-2026 school year.

You can complete one family application for all of your children attending a Northwest Allen County School and turn it in at any of our schools.

You may submit your application for approval online at Family Portal

If you need help or have other questions, you may call Leeanne Koeneman at 637-8768.

Please note that we cannot approve your application unless it is filled out correctly and completely.  You must sign the application!   Also, make sure you note how often you receive your income on the application. It may take up to ten days to process your paper application, so please submit it as soon as possible after July 1, 2025. If you don't complete the application correctly, it will take a few days longer. You will be notified by mail when your application is processed. If you have not received a letter prior to registering your student(s), you can ask to have your textbook fees deferred until you find out if you qualify for the textbook assistance.

Ala carte items are not included with the Free benefits, so if your student wishes to purchase an additional entrée, extra milk, juice or other ala carte items, you must send extra money for them. The meal prices are as follows:
