Our Commitment to Safety

At Northwest Allen County Schools, the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community are our top priorities. We are dedicated to providing a secure environment that supports both physical and emotional safety for everyone in our schools.

Physical Safety:
We have implemented comprehensive security measures to ensure the physical safety of our students and staff. This includes secure building access, surveillance systems, and regular safety drills.

Emotional Safety:
We believe that a safe school environment extends beyond physical security. Our district is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and respected.

Together, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Northwest Allen County Schools requires a Limited Criminal History Background Check as well as a copy of driver's license for all volunteers, chaperones, and visitors working in our school in any capacity during the school year. These can be completed online and are valid for two years.

All visitors will also be asked to provide a copy of your driver's license to the office upon entry. These will be scanned and a visitor sticker will be generated for the duration of your visit to our school. All background check information is kept confidential.

Contact your student’s school for more information about this process.
